A reinforced steel joist (RSJ) is a horizontal steel beam used within construction, also referred to as l-beam and h-beam due to its shape. We use an RSJ when converting the two single garages to one double garage.

An SWS Seceuroglide Compact Roller Garage Door with Insulated Aluminium Slats. Finished in a golden oak decograin with a white box, guides and new UPVC framework fitted by our Croydon Branch.

Requiring only 90mm of headroom (Including the operator), the SeceuroGlide Compact Sectional Garage Door is perfect for garages with low headroom. This is paired with SWS’s 40mm Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulated door panel to increase its thermal insulation properties, saving you money on heating!

To ensure safety, double anti-drop spring break devices are fitted alongside finger-safe joints. These joints use a rubber seal to prevent fingers being trapped between the panels, ensuring your peace of mind.

Its 42mm thick sections are double skinned, rolled steel filled with CFC-free rigid PU foam, offering great thermal insulation. A flush-fitting fascia panel may also be fitted as an extra to offer an “invisible transition” between the panel & frame when closed.

Furthermore, the LPU42 can be finished in 15 preferred, 6 decograin & 3 sandgrain colours but over 200 RAL options can be chosen! The LPU42 M-Ribbed Garage Door suits any property aesthetics, whether your home is traditional or modern. The smooth lines created by the M Ribs (1 Horizontal Rib per Panel) fit many appearances, with a matching front door also available.

Additionally, the LPU42 has 42mm thick PU-foam filled sections sandwiched between a double steel skin. This provides the LPU42 with excellent thermal insulation as well as great ‘long-term’ protection.

2 x Fort, Large Horizontally Ribbed, Side-Hinged Garage Doors. They were fitted with PVC trims and was finished in RAL7016 Anthracite Grey. It was installed in Middlesex by our Watford Branch.

Fort Garage Doors combine excellent value with striking looks to provide your home with a fresh appearance. Manufactured with steel bracing, they are robust with twin latches on the active leaf & shoot bolts on the inn-active leaf.
