A Hormann LPU42 Sectional Garage Door finished in a Golden Oak Decograin with a Fit 2 Internal Radio Button. Installed in Chislehurst by our Sidcup Branch.

Hormann’s LPU42 Sectional Garage Door features double skinned, 42mm thick sections with PU foam infills, offering excellent thermal insulation properties. If you’d like further thermal insulation gains, we can also supply the Hormann LPU67 Thermo Sectional Garage Door.
The LPU67 features thermal breaks alongside its 67mm thick sections making it Hormann’s best door for energy saving. However, if this is not a concern for your garage, a single skinned LTE42 is available, which is Hormann’s inexpensive solution for detached garages.

Also included within this installation was Fit 2 Internal Radio Button. Able to control up to 2 operators per radio signal, it can be fitted either inside your garage or home to make operating your garage door easier.

A Hormann Thermo46 Front Door finished in Traffic White. It was installed in Brockley by our Sidcup Branch.

Hormann’s Thermo46 front doors come in 13 unique styles, this particular installation is a style 410 which features a stainless steel handle, 3-fold insulated glass with outside laminated safety glass. However, each individual style can be further customised with 16 of Hormann’s preferred colours or an option of 5 Decograin decors, with various glazings, side elements and transom lights to suit your preference.

All Horman Thermo46 front doors achieve excellent thermal insulation properties with a UD-value up to 1.1 W/(m2.K). They are equally equipped with multiple-point locking to create a break-in-resistant front door.

A flush fitting fascia panel may also be fitted as an extra to offer an “invisible transition” between the panel & frame when closed. Furthermore, the LPU42 can be finished in 15 preferred, 6 decograin & 3 sandgrain colours but over 200 RAL options can be chosen! Hormann now introduces branch new duragrain finishes with 24 detailed, natural & colourfast decors that are highly scratch & UV resistance guaranteeing a permanently beautiful door style.

The Hormann 2002 Horizontal Ribbed Garage Door features a “timeless” design. It is available in both Canopy or Retractable Gear (Learn about the differences). Retractable Gear is also available with automation, although Canopy Gear can be automated, it isn’t a recommended option.

Built on a strong, steel base, they are manufactured to stringent German engineering standards and therefore, it comes with a 10-year manufacturer warranty. In addition to the sturdy frame, 4-point locking is also available (Adding to extra locking points at the top of the garage door), increasing the security your new garage door provides.

A Hormann LPU42 M-Ribbed Sectional Garage Door finished in a Golden Oak Decograin. Installed with a CTP 3-1 Code Switch (Capable of operating 3 individual garage doors), the CTP 3-1 can open/close your garage door via a unique pin code & connects directly to your operator. It was fitted by our New Malden Branch in Hounslow.

The LPU42 M-Ribbed Garage Door suits any property aesthetics, whether your home is traditional or modern. The smooth lines created by the M Ribs (1 Horiztonal Rib per Panel) fit many appearances, with a matching front door also available.

The LPU42 Sectional Garage Door can also be fitted with many accessories. These range from code switches, internal push buttons to fingerprint scanners and photocell kits! Providing easier access into your garage for you, yet harder for intruders, with the photocell kit preventing any accidents or damage to your property. Photocell kits use beams of light and sensors that tell the operator to stop as soon as one of these beams are broken in the event of the closing door encountering an obstruction.

The Hormann LPU 42 is a double skinned, 42mm thick, sectional garage door. It offers high levels of thermal insulation thanks to its CFC- free PU rigid foam infill and Hormann ThermoFrame, providing a thermal break between the frame and brickwork. This equates to an improvement in its thermal insulation by up to 15%, adding to its excellent value for money.

Priding themselves on security, Hormann’s automatic sectional garage doors feature a security kit within the boom’s guide. Once the garage door has been shut securely, it engages the lock, making the door resistant to intruders. 2 x Hormann S Panelled LPU42 Sectional Garage Doors (14’6” x 7’0” + 8’0” x 7’0”), finished in a Black Woodgrain. They were fitted to the customer’s existing operators which were previously installed. In some cases, we can reuse your current automation setup to be used with your new garage door, or we can automate your current garage door! This installation was undertaken by our Croydon Branch in Westerham.

Offering great insulation, its 42mm thick sections are double skinned which can also be fitted with a flush fascia; referred to as the “most elegant solution for an invisible transition”, when the door is shut.
