We carried out an installation for one of our recent customers who was looking to replace their old up & over garage door as it had worn out from many years of use. They were looking for a garage door which would not take up room within their garage whilst also providing insulating properties and had better security.

We suggested the SeceuroGlide classic insulated roller garage door as they are manufactured from tough twin-walled aluminium slats with an insulating core. The roller door curtain is held in place with high performance webbing which is rarely affected by temperature extremes.

One of our recent customers was having trouble finding a garage door that would take up minimal room within the garage itself due to space being at a premium, yet be automated whilst also providing effective cover against the elements. They were after a roller door however the coil on standard roller doors was just too large for their garage door opening. Fortunately we had a solution in mind which was the SWS Compact Roller Garage Door.

SWS Compact roller garage doors utilise an insulated aluminium slat that is significantly narrower than those featured on the SeceuroGlide. This allows a tighter, smaller coil requiring just 8” (205mm) of headroom, giving in this case the owners of even the smallest garages the option of a high quality remote controlled door.

This SeceuroGlide Roller Garage Door comes fully automated, featuring a right hand motor. The Garage Door also has built-in timed courtesy lights & manual winding handles which means the Garage will still be accessible in case of a power failure.
