One of our recent customers requested an automated double sectional garage door which would also be insulated as they would need their garage door for multiple uses as well as storing their car. We suggested the SeceuroGlide Sectional Plus as it has all of the properties of the elite model but is equipped to handle larger garage doors.

Sectional garage doors from SeceuroGlide come with a range of unique design features to ensure you have a smooth reliable door for many years to come.

Introducing the track connecting system, a patented running mechanism unique to SWS. This feature not only gives a smooth operation but increases the strength of the whole operation of the customers door. Factory-fitted, partially-tensioned springs and cables ensure that the door is perfectly balanced for ease of use, with reliable operation for both manual or remote control automated doors.

The Plus has all the same running gear and tracks, but uses a front-mount torsion springing system to lift the door safely. The reinforcing bracket on the track system gives the customer peace of mind when operating a door of this size. Requiring just 160 mm of headroom, the Sectional Plus will leave the customer with an excellent clearance and drive-through height.

The panel design features a high density, CFC-free polyurethane core that is sandwiched between two steel sheets. SWS Plus panels are filled with an environmentally friendly, fire safe insulating core.

This garage door also allows the customer to drive directly into their garage with the help of the Hormann Promatic operator opening and closing the garage door without having the face the elements outside.

Hormann LPU 42 S-Ribbed Sectional Garage Door finished in a Traffic White Wood Grain & Installed in Chelsea by our New Malden Branch.

One of our recent customers was after a secure manual garage door which would not extend outwards, such as a canopy up & over due to the garage being located on a footpath.

We suggested the Hormann S-Ribbed Sectional garage door finished in a wood grain surface. This provides an inexpensive, robust surface with an authentic sawn timber look, minor scratches can be easily repaired by working with the texture. Sectional doors also open vertically upwards and are suspended under the ceiling. Due to this construction they provide maximum space in front of the garage.

Hormann’s LPU42 also features double skinned, 42mm thick PU-foam filled sections which provide the LPU42 with excellent thermal insulation. This helps protect the garage from the elements whilst also maintaining heat inside.

Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of the Hormann sectional doors ensure that they are optimally sealed. Sectional doors are tested and certified in accordance with the high safety requirements of European standard 13241-1.

This specific customer was looking to replace their old door which was badly worn out. They wanted an automated, modern yet stylish garage door which would look good on the exterior of their properties matching various wooden elements which were already present.

We suggested the Hormann M-Ribbed Sectional garage door finished in Decograin surface with a UV-resistant plastic film coating to give the sectional door a striking and authentic timber look. This saved the customer the hassle of having to maintain an authentic timber door.

This Sectional Garage Door came automated making the customers life easier and hassle free, compared to their previous garage door which was manual. This garage door now allows them to drive directly into their garage with the help of the Hormann Promatic operator opening and closing the garage door.
