Hormann’s LPU42 is a double steel skinned garage door, featuring 42mm thick sections, the LPU42 provides excellent insulation properties, quiet operation & great stability. Additionally, this installation included a Hormann Supramatic. Combining speed & convenience, it allows you to drive straight into your garage from the road at the press of a button on your remote.
Extra features, such as ventilating your garage (Slightly opening the top section), make this operator feature-rich, whilst it’s all packed in a brushed aluminium cover to produce a very elegant appearance.

This allows for a far smaller area of 90mm to be required for fitment, including the motor! Hormann’s LPU42 Sectional Garage Door features double skinned, 42mm thick sections with PU foam infills, offering excellent thermal insulation properties. If you’d like further thermal insulation gains, we can also supply the Hormann LPU67 Thermo Sectional Garage Door.
The LPU67 features thermal breaks alongside its 67mm thick sections making it Hormann’s best door for energy saving. However, if this is not a concern for your garage, a single skinned LTE42 is available, which is Hormann’s inexpensive solution for detached garages.

Also included within this installation was Fit 2 Internal Radio Button. Able to control up to 2 operators per radio signal, it can be fitted either inside your garage or home to make operating your garage door easier.

Furthermore, the LPU42 can be finished in 15 preferred, 6 decograin & 3 sandgrain colours but over 200 RAL options can be chosen! Requiring only 90mm of headroom (Including the operator), the SeceuroGlide Compact Sectional Garage Door is perfect for garages with low headroom. This is paired with SWS’s 40mm Polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulated door panel to increase its thermal insulation properties, saving you money on heating!

To ensure safety, double anti-drop spring break devices are fitted alongside finger safe joints. These joints use a rubber seal to prevent fingers being trapped between the panels, ensuring your peace of mind.

Installed with a CTP 3-1 Code Switch (Capable of operating 3 individual garage doors), the CTP 3-1 can open/close your garage door via a unique pin code & connects directly to your operator. It was fitted by our New Malden Branch in Hounslow.

The LPU42 M-Ribbed Garage Door suits any property aesthetics, whether your home is traditional or modern. The smooth lines created by the M Ribs (1 Horiztonal Rib per Panel) fit many appearances, with a matching front door also available.

The LPU42 Sectional Garage Door can also be fitted with many accessories. These range from code switches, internal push buttons to fingerprint scanners and photocell kits! Providing easier access into your garage for you, yet harder for intruders, with the photocell kit preventing any accidents or damage to your property. Photocell kits use beams of light and sensors that tell the operator to stop as soon as one of these beams are broken in the event of the closing door encountering an obstruction.

The Hormann LPU 42 is a double skinned, 42mm thick, sectional garage door. It offers high levels of thermal insulation thanks to its CFC- free PU rigid foam infill and Hormann ThermoFrame, providing a thermal break between the frame and brickwork. This equates to an improvement in its thermal insulation by up to 15%, adding to its excellent value for money.

Priding themselves on security, Hormann’s automatic sectional garage doors feature a security kit within the boom’s guide. Once the garage door has been shut securely, it engages the lock, making the door resistant to intruders. It acts purely as a mechanical function meaning that your garage remains secure even in the event of a power cut!
